Mealy bugs on pony tail palm

We have two pony tail palms that have mealy bugs — they are indoors. We understand Conqueror Oil is too strong to use on them. What can you suggest we use?

Spray your palms with Confidor aerosol spray, available from garden centres and hardware stores. You will need to repeat spray to totally eradicate mealy bug. Conqueror Oil can be used at the right strength; it smothers the insect. Repeat applications will be necessary.
