Water
Gardens Aponogeton dystacius
WHAT
is a good plant to put some life and colour into my pond over winter,
when most of the other plants die down?
THE
water hawthorne, Aponogeton dystacius, is by far the best.
Treat it as you would a water lily and feed regularly throughout
the off-season.
The plants will reward
you with white vanilla scented flowers and deep green strap-like
leaves. This plant will also flower in the shade and will grow in
water up
