Water Gardens — Hungry fish

MY fish have started eating like there is no tomorrow. I thought they ate less as the weather cooled down?

YOUR fish are putting on condition to see them through the winter. Feed them as much good quality food as you can without fouling the water.

When the water temperature drops down to about 10°C, you should then change to a fish food with a higher proportion of easily digestible matter, as their systems do not work so well during cold weather.

I recommend Tetra Floating Variety Sticks. They are a good quality product and have significantly more wheat germ than most pond fish foods.
